Why I keep my kids buckled in their seats just a few minutes longer.

Geared up, happy, and ready for fun!

Getting out with little ones can sometimes be daunting, so I wanted to share a little tip that’s made life easier – and taught them patience.

Today I took my littlest, Evelyn (2 years old), to a park for a ride on her balance bike. I got her all geared up while she was still buckled in and contained in her car seat. I didn’t have to carry all her gear to a safe spot or get her ready while standing in the parking lot. Once she was geared up, it was a breeze getting her out and ready to hop on her bike. It was safer and I didn’t have juggle equipment and a child.

You can use this tip when you’re:

  • Getting the stroller ready.
  • Getting multiple kids ready without one being loose.
  • Unloading groceries (as long as they’re still safely in range).

Just a little tip that makes the going out experience so much easier – and avoids potential moments of frustration.
